Syrah

With blackberry, peppery and some earthy notes, our Syrah is a perfect pairing with duck or beef.

Winemaking
Co-fermented with 3.5% Viognier, a common practice in France’s Rhône Valley that adds bright fruit flavors. Aged 18 months in 20% new oak (75% French and 25% American).

Tasting Note
Deep garnet color with blackberry, licorice and black cherry aromas and tangy cranberry sauce, dusty earth and lavender flavors. It finishes with blueberry and black pepper notes and well balanced tannins.

Pairing
Oven braised Duck with fennel gratin or beef stuffed bell peppers with tomato sauce and parmesan cheese.
